Greetings from LULAC District VIII! We wish you a joyous and prosperous new year for 2006. District VIII is the 2nd largest district in the State of Texas and one of the largest in the USA. District VIII currently has 30 adult councils, 5 young adults councils and 10 youth councils. District VIII serves the communities of the greater Houston Metropolitan Area which include: Alief, Bellaire, Freeport, Texas City, Galveston, Huntsville, Spring, Humble, Galena Park, Lake Jackson and Pasadena. LULAC District VIII is a grass roots organization dedicated to serve the community and advocate for civil rights, increase educational opportunities, immigration issues, and leadership and unequivocally will state any discrimination or unfair treatment in the work force or housing.
